Online Coding Classes for Kids in India: 1-on-1, Evenings IST

Each class is a live Zoom session with one child and one mentor. Your child shares their screen and types the code; the mentor guides, asks why something works, and helps them fix mistakes rather than fixing them for them. A class lasts a full 60 minutes, which leaves time to finish a feature instead of stopping halfway.

These online coding classes for kids in India are taught from Canada by Excklusive-IT, a school that has run since 2020. Your child keeps the same mentor, so progress builds from one class to the next. The three main tracks are:

• Python — logic, games and small apps, and the language of CBSE Computer Science in Classes 11–12.
• Roblox Studio and Luau — building and scripting real games.
• Web development — HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Parents are welcome to sit in on the free first class and ask questions at the end.

Indian school boards are giving computing more weight, and 1-on-1 classes can run ahead of school or alongside it:

• CBSE: the Ministry of Education has announced an AI and Computational Thinking curriculum from Class 3, starting in the 2026–27 session. In Classes 11–12, CBSE Computer Science is taught in Python.
• ICSE / ISC: Computer Applications in Classes 9–10 uses Java, usually with BlueJ. We don't run a separate Java course, but the logic your child practises in Python — conditions, loops, functions, lists — carries over directly.

Younger children usually gain most from building things they enjoy, such as games, so that loops and variables feel useful rather than abstract. Older students can bring a school topic or a practical-file program and practise it on a project of their own. We don't prepare students for a specific board paper; the aim is that coding stops being the part of the subject your child dreads.

Our Python classes for kids online in India fall at a time that works after school and tuition. The mentor teaches in the morning Eastern Time, which lands in the Indian afternoon and evening:

• Roughly March to early November: weekday slots around 16:30–18:30 IST.
• Roughly November to March: the same slots move to about 17:30–19:30 IST, because Canada changes its clocks and India doesn't.
• Weekends: Saturday and Sunday slots are also available.

We don't publish a fixed timetable. After the free class we agree one regular slot and keep it. Classes are booked in blocks of four, which makes it easy to plan around unit tests, board exams and festival weeks. Summer vacation and the Diwali break are natural times to start or add extra classes, because children have more free time.

For many children, Roblox coding classes are what gets them to write their first real line of code. In Roblox Studio they build a world, then script it in Luau: doors that open, coins that add to a score, obstacles that reset a player, rounds that start and end. That covers variables, events, conditions and functions — the same ideas they will later meet in Python or Java.

Roblox Studio is free, but it needs a Windows or Mac computer; it does not run on tablets or Chromebooks. A mouse helps a lot.

Students aged 14–17 who already enjoy Roblox can move into the Roblox + AI program, where they build a complete game and then use AI tools for 3D models, animation and effects. For a first look, the free Roblox class shows exactly what a lesson involves, and the free Python class does the same for Python.

A 60-minute class costs CA$70, about ₹4,750 at current rates, and classes are sold in blocks of four for CA$280, roughly ₹19,000. To be straightforward: many India-based platforms charge less per class. What you pay for here is a 1-on-1 coding tutor who stays with your child, a full hour per class, and lessons shaped around your child's pace and interests. For comparison, large US schools charge around US$60–75 for a 50–60 minute private lesson.

Payment is by PayPal invoice in Canadian dollars; PayPal or your card converts it to rupees. Use a card with international transactions enabled, and ask your bank about its forex markup. If plans change, unused lessons are refundable within 14 days.

Classes are taught in English. The mentor also teaches in Ukrainian and Russian.
