Coding Classes for Kids in Stoney Creek, Burlington and Nearby

Our coding classes for kids from Stoney Creek are held at UNF Hall, 170 Parkdale Ave N, Hamilton, ON L8H 5X2 — the Ukrainian National Federation hall in east Hamilton. From Stoney Creek's old downtown on King Street it's about 5 km by road, roughly 10 minutes by car outside rush hour.

Families have two ways to learn:

• In person at UNF Hall — your child works in the room with the mentor. See the Hamilton classes page for the current in-person schedule and format.
• Live online, 1-on-1 — a 60-minute Zoom lesson with one mentor, from home. Your child shares their screen and writes the code while the mentor follows every line.

Excklusive-IT has taught children since 2020. Online lessons are handy on weeks when the drive doesn't fit, and they use the same projects and the same approach as the classes at the hall.

For kids coding in Burlington, UNF Hall is about 12 km by road from downtown Burlington — roughly 15–20 minutes by car outside rush hour, and more from north Burlington. Because our weekday teaching hours are early in the morning, weekend lessons are usually the practical choice for Burlington families, whether at the hall or online.

Online 1-on-1 lessons remove the drive altogether: your child shares their screen, writes the code and gets the same attention they would in the room. What your child can learn:

• Roblox Studio and Luau — building and scripting their own games.
• Python — problem-solving, text games and small apps.
• Web development — HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Chess — for ages 5–15.

From Ancaster, coding classes at UNF Hall are about 22 km away by road — around 25 minutes by car outside rush hour. From downtown Dundas it's about 16 km, also roughly 20–25 minutes.

For many west-end families that drive is fine on a Saturday but hard on a busy week. Online lessons cover the gap: the same mentor, the same projects and the same 60 minutes, from your kitchen table. Ask us whether in person, online or a mix suits your schedule best.

One practical note for online lessons: Roblox Studio only runs on Windows and Mac computers, while Python and web development work on most laptops, including Chromebooks. A mouse and headphones with a microphone make online lessons much smoother.

Coding classes in Ancaster and Dundas at school or community centres are often group-based. If your child learns better with one adult's full attention, a 1-on-1 lesson is worth trying — the first one is free.

Ontario's elementary math curriculum has included coding in every grade from 1 to 8 since 2020, and many students meet it through block-based tools. Our lessons take the next step: typing real code in Luau or Python, reading error messages and building one project over several weeks.

• Ages 8–10 often start in Roblox Studio, because seeing a game work keeps them motivated.
• Ages 11–14 build bigger games or move into Python and web development.
• Ages 14–17 can join the Roblox + AI program — a complete game in the first lesson of each month, then 3D models, animation and effects made with AI tools — or build a base for high-school computer studies with Python.

Weekday slots are early in the morning, so weekends usually suit school-age children better. We don't publish a fixed timetable; after the free lesson we agree a regular time and keep it.

Lessons run in English, Ukrainian or Russian. That helps newcomer families from Ukraine in Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Burlington: a child can learn the logic in the language they think in, then pick up the English technical terms along the way, since code is written in English anyway.
